Hey, I’m Kaibo.

I study software engineering at the University of Waterloo on a full-ride scholarship. Currently I’m interning at Shopify on the Analytics team.

I’m also a researcher under Dr. Yuhao Chen, teaching humanoid robots how to hold hockey sticks, with the ultimate goal of simulating entire sports matches.

I’m interested in backend development, AI agents, and high-performance systems that scale. I also enjoy hackathons and competitive programming. Outside of tech, I’m a big sports fan, and watch as many games as I can.
